給"坐"技術的同學

Hello all,

很多同學google 都沒有學會怎麼用,基本的信息分揀方法都不熟悉,上來就搞linux, 搞資料庫,搞集群,搞并行,搞分佈。你給他解決問題的方法,他卻怪你沒有把肉送到嘴邊.
莫非現在自詡作技術的朋友,其實就是會"坐"技術?

在這裡做斑竹最累得不是回答別人的問題,最累得重複回答別人的問題!

看到我的標題和到這裡的內容,大家不要以為問題把我nntp問煩了,熟悉我的人都知道過去10年裡,我在國內外不同論壇,IRC, BBS回答的linux問題的數量多到連個大概數字我自己記不住了。我只是為某些新入行或者準備有所發展,躊躇滿志的同學擔心。為什麼有些同學不能夠在自己很弱的時候謙虛地告訴自己其實需要好好把基礎打好,從最基本的調查研究的方法技巧入手,然後從熟悉掌握簡單的單一的到熟悉掌握複雜的關聯的技術呢?

技術真的可以"坐"來么?  不採取正確的"做"法,坐著等別人幫你歸納,幫你總結,幫你提點,幫你copy & paste,你會得到你想要的東西么?

凡事用事實來說話,我這裡就舉例說明上述我的觀點,例子對事不對人,當局者莫嗔:


例1.

某天,某同學ask 那裡可以找到 Oracle 的linux vmware kit.

我answer:   OTN

此同學問: OTN 在哪兒?

我汗. 本著良心和熱情,據實以告,不過為了讓此小弟能夠得到更多信息,我給了otn portal URL.

此同學再問: Oracle Linux Vmware Kit 在哪兒?

我怒 :-[

是什麼讓我們這些新同學連用鍵盤在google 裡面輸OTN都不願意?
又是什麼讓我們的新同學不願意在看到OTN后懶惰到不願意用滑鼠點Linux ?  ( 不是要找linux vmware kit么?難道還去點Oracle warehouse?)
最後又是什麼讓我們的新同學在點出 linux section后,不願意化10秒鐘時間掃描一下顯示器,並在左手邊發現大大的幾個字"Oracle Vmware Kit" ?


例2:

某天某同學問我為什麼我比較推薦SuSE,希望得到一些SLES的深入的信息.

我答:  1. www.novell.com,  2. Novell brainshare  3. www.google.com

某同學不悅,跟著發表了自己的看法。 不過此同學比之前那個破口大罵的天壤之別。

我不在乎看我帖子的人的態度,我希望能真的幫到一些人.

既然要了解 SLES的深入信息, 源頭當然是 www.novell.com(你找www.suse.com也沒有錯)

所以這是我給出第一個link的理由, 既然是廠商,就會有"Product" 既然有"Product"就會有"SLES",既然有"SLES"就會有"Information. 這個邏輯不難把?

其次,當你訪問www.novell.com 的時候,在第一頁的正當中,寫著Knowledge base,   難道這不是你想要的么?   

了解了product specification 和相關 "knowledge"之後,我給你  Novell brainshare 建議你去看。到了Novell, 再找brainshare不是難事情吧?

然後我又擔心你找不到brainshare, "看扁"了你,我又給出了第三個link  www.google.com

請你在 google.com 裡面輸入  Novell Brainshare ,你得到的第一個結果就是Brainshare2006 (到今天還沒有開幕),你得到的第二個搜索結果是brainshare 2005.

進入brainshare 2005之後.假設你英文不太好,看得慢,但是花1分鐘看看這個page總沒有問題吧?

你看到了左手主連接的第一個連接,就是sessions. 點進去,下面我就不說了.

兩個例子說好了,是不是我們中的一些同學有點感覺了呢?  你們要解決的不是技術問題,是研究技術的能力問題。前者你花幾天時間好好學習,就可以做的比我好,後者恐怕你不願意學的話,很長時間你都不會得到什麼。不幸的是,後者又決定了前者能夠走多遠,走多久.
